What are PreRolls?

Prerolls are pre-made cannabis joints or cigarettes that contain ground cannabis flower. They offer convenience and consistency, making them a popular choice for cannabis consumers.

From getting the best paper (we tested hundreds), using the best flower with the perfect grind (not too fine or too chunky), down to the ideal crutch size and the way it is packed. Most prerolls are made using a vibrational system such as the knockbox, but we have a custom built centrifuge machine that fills our prerolls using spinning and gravity. This is a much gentler process that helps preserve the structure of the flower – the rough shaking from a vibration based process can knock off the much coveted trichomes from the flower. This amounts to a loss in potency, flavor and experience. Our process keeps the flower intact which also means less material is falling into the crutch resulting in a cleaner end product. Further, this even distribution of flower leads to a smoother and more consistent burn.

Do PreRolls expire? How long do they last?

Prerolls can lose flavor and potency over time but if stored properly, they can stay pretty fresh for up to a year. Rest assured, our prerolls will be delivered to you at peak freshness.

Once they arrive, prerolls should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place; 60-65° degrees and 55-65% relative humidity is ideal. But even in suboptimal conditions, prerolls will stay in good shape for a few months….minding you don’t leave them in your car for days during peak summertime!

How long do hemp-derived drinks and edibles take to kick in?

We try to be mindful of the environment in everything we do. This includes packaging which can be incredibly wasteful. We try to use plant-based materials as much as possible and plastic as little as possible(we use some, we are not perfect!).

Babies come packed in a recyclable paper box and a mylar bag made from plant starch, for freshness. If you have access to an industrial compost, drop it in.
The Cigs box is made from paper and we use a plant starch bag for freshness. This is “plastic” made from plants, not petroleum, so it's better on the earth and does biodegrade.
